Meditation – Rebooting the Brain

Does it take discipline to take time to meditate? Yes, but it’s so worth it. In the Mother Heart of God, the benefits of exercising faith in God, prayer and having balance in your life is explored. One day, the patriarch Isaac went out into a field to pray and meditate. And when he opened his eyes, he saw aPainted Canyon DSCN0534 beautiful woman named Rebekah coming toward him. She would become the love of his life (Gen. 25:63). I can guess Isaac felt well-rewarded in his meditations! There are great physical and spiritual benefits in the pure practice of prayer and meditation, according to the Bible. We are rejuvenated when we become lost in the awe and wonder of God’s creative power and rest in His compassion and love! Scientists say meditation is like “rebooting” your brain. But they are just confirming what God revealed long ago to the writers of the Scriptures. In fact, Psalm 18:7 (NIV) notes that meditating on God’s moral law will make you wiser: The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. That’s good stuff.
